Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface, using sand with a grit range sizes from 8 through 40, to a surface or medium with a high pressure Air Compressor resulting in the collision and friction, so that the formation of pores in the media works as an anchor to strengthen the grip of the painting
