10/25/2013 The good folks at Raffles Institute for higher learning (Raffles) – Surabaya invite us over for a presentation. Though their class maybe rather small, but these Raffles kids were the best audience we ever had
Raffles is probably one of the most renowned names for design study, but their Surabaya campus is relatively new. Sits in the heart of Surabaya, right where the historical environment and the modern day business traffic blends – they choose their location wisely. It was our pleasure to be able to share one or two things we learn along our career.
Although we shared a lot on design methods and case studies, these students were much more enthusiastic about the real world of design industry in Surabaya. In our opinion, this is a good sign on how the academics started to expose their students about the real working case and environments early on. This will prepare them better for their career in the industry.
Thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality, specially for Mr. Claudio Castillero, Mr. Denny Roringand Ms. Ressie Novania. We posted that picture we took after the presentation.
