12/23/2009 TRECKING MERAPI_SUROLOYO_CETO_SUKUH_TAWANGMANGU_Mt KELUD_ Mt BROMO_SUKAMADE TURTLE BEACH_IJEN

TOUR PROGRAM:

Pick up at Adisucipto Airport – transfer to hotel.

Morning; check out from hotel then go forward to Suroloyo – Borobudur temple – Selo. Find a hotel and take a rest until 11/12 p.m. then prepare to climb up Mt. Merapi.

Merapi Sunrise. Spend a night in Selo.

Cetho temple – walking through kampungs and tea plantation to the Sukuh temple. From Sukuh continued to Tawangmangu (by walking) to see the waterfalls. Stopped at a hotel in Sarangan.

Take a walk in Sarangan. Enjoy the view of Telaga Sarangan on the eastside of Mt. Lawu.

Driving to Kediri or Blitar.
Driving from Kediri to Mt. Kelud where we can find a lake on the top of the mountain, but in 2008 there’s a young growing volcano on the centre of the lake.
Continued to Penataran temple Spend a night in Blitar.

Going to Bromo.
Dropped off at Tumpang, and then go to Ranupane by jeep through savanna and stop at Cemoro Lawang.

Start at 4 a.m. from hotel to go to Penanjakan by jeep to enjoy sunrise, then go to Mt. Bromo. Back to hotel, then go to Kalibaru to spend a night there.

Start at 9 a.m. from hotel and go to Sukamade by jeep (with local guide).
Salaamed is one of Indonesia’s most important turtle-spawning grounds, where the five species of turtle come ashore to lay their eggs. Spend a night at Mess Pantai in Sukamade.

Kalibaru – Sempol.
Start at 3 a.m. from hotel for trekking in Kawah Ijen.

Finish the tour at around 9 a.m. then go to Ketapang harbour to take a ferry to Bali. End of service.
